Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana preferably frozen for extra thickness
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter smooth or chunky according to preference
  • 1/2 cup cold brew or coffee cooled
  • 1/2 cup milk dairy or plant-based
  • to taste sweetener honey or maple syrup optional
  • a pinch cinnamon or vanilla optional for extra flavor

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Knife and cutting board

Method

  1. Place the banana, peanut butter, cooled coffee, and milk into the blender.
  2. Blend on high for about 30 seconds until the mixture is smooth, creamy, and no banana chunks remain.
  3. Stop the blender and taste the smoothie; add sweetener and a pinch of cinnamon or vanilla if desired.
  4. Blend again for a few seconds to incorporate the added flavorings.
  5. If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash more milk and blend briefly. If too thin, add a few ice cubes and blend until frosty and thickened.
  6. Pour the smoothie into a glass, then optionally sprinkle with chopped nuts or a dash of cinnamon on top for garnish.
  7. Enjoy immediately for the best texture and flavor — sip and savor the comforting, nutty, and coffee-infused goodness.
