Method
 

  1. Start by trimming the ends off the green beans and giving them a quick rinse. Pat them dry thoroughly — moisture can keep them from crisping up.
  2. In a mixing bowl, toss the green beans with olive oil, salt, and garlic powder until evenly coated. The oil helps them crisp and develop a rich flavor.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (390°F) for about 3 minutes. This ensures the beans start roasting immediately and evenly.
  4. Spread the seasoned green beans in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding to allow hot air to circulate and crisp each bean.
  5. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to promote even browning and crispiness. You'll hear a gentle sizzling and smell the toasty aroma as they cook.
  6. Once they’re crispy around the edges and tender inside, remove the green beans from the air fryer. If you desire extra crunch, give them a quick additional 2-minute blast.
